5. International AGN Conference
4.-6. June 2009
The Styrian "Association for Emergency Medicine (AGN)", whose declared aim is the education and training of emergency physicians, interested medical doctors, paramedics and other medical staff is proud to announce their 5th International Congress on Emergency Medicine - to be held from June, 4th to June, 6th 2009 in Graz. The meeting will be under the theme:
"Evidence-Based Emergency Medicine - where evidence is pushed to the limit.
Under this motto recognized international and national experts will discuss topics such as:
- What new insights are from interest for emergency medicine?
- Which therapies and algorithms are "evidence based"?
- What are the limits of Evidence for emergency medicine?
The Meeting in Graz has evolved over the years since 1998, expecting now with over 800 visitors and speakers from Austria, it's neighboring countries - but also England and the United States. The Conference is one of the largest emergency medical events in Austria.
As usual the meeting will offer again many different symposiums, workshops as well as emergency-physician-refresher-courses.

Vom 4. bis 5. Dezember 2009 findet in Linz der 13. Kongress der ÖNK zum Thema "Feuer und Flamme" statt.

In Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma Chemomedica entstand im Vorfeld des Kongresses ein Notfallrucksack gemäß den aktuellen Empfehlungen der AGN.
Am AGN-Kongress findet auch wieder eine Poster-Ausstellung statt. Die besten Poster werden prämiiert, rechtzeitig einlangende Abstracts in Notfall- & Rettungsmedizin publiziert.
Im Vorfeld zum AGN Kongress findet ein ERC (European Resuscitation Council) - Kurs "ALS: Advanced Life Support" unter der Leitung von OA Dr. Doppler statt.
